For many of our residential property matters we operate on a fixed-fee basis (subject to complexity and bespoke work). This means you know the cost up front, you avoid surprise costs, and we focus on delivering rather than billing unpredictably.

Contextual fee ranges & clarity
We understand that every transaction is unique. Accordingly, we will provide a clear fee estimate for your matter, explaining what is included, what might be extra (e.g., third-party searches, disbursements, unforeseen complexities) and how the timing works. For example, on our wills & probate service you’ll see indicative ranges published.

No hidden extras
Our commitment to transparency means that disbursements (search fees, registry fees, tax filings) will be explained in advance, and we will update you if additional work is required beyond our initial scope. We’ll always check with you before proceeding if something significant arises.

Reduced risk of cost over-run
Because we combine early risk-identification with senior oversight, we are less likely to hit unexpected work that blows the budget. If additional work is needed, we will alert you early and provide options so you remain in control.
